The fashion practice category is a tough one with entrants nationwide and has a strict judging criteria. So, to be recognised as one of top 5 progressive and fashion forward practices in the entire UK, we feel, is a great achievement for Market Drayton and we are over the moon! The awards ceremony and results are in April and we will share the results with you as soon as we hear.

What does ‘Fashion Practice’ Mean?

We believe that everyone deserves to look and feel good in eyewear. And our aim is to enhance every aspect of being a glasses wearer; from your actual eyewear through to every detail of the experience and service you receive.

First Impressions Count

Many people realise that however superficial it may seem, first impressions really do count, both in our business and social life.

And whilst most of us do take the time to think about what we are going to wear each day and how to dress appropriately for the occasion, our eyewear, despite being in the centre of our faces and often the very first thing people notice about us, can very often be neglected or an afterthought leading to a discord in the overall impression we give.

Take the gentleman who steps out of his luxury motor, well groomed, wearing his bespoke, tailor-made power suit and shoes – every inch the corporate professional.  Yet who looks and communicates with his premium clients each day through the same pair of badly styled glasses and poor-quality lenses, belying everything else about him.

Then there’s lady who spends weeks searching for the perfect dress to wear for her daughter’s wedding, who puts great thought and research into matching her outfit with her shoes, handbag and accessories, yet on the big day wears the same pair of glasses she’s worn for the last 3 years, which may still look fantastic with her jeans, but are at complete odds with her special occasion look.

And finally, one of the most tragic of all, that person we all know whose bubbly sparkling personality and flamboyant clothing style energises the whole room –  yet spoilt by a pair of boring glasses which ages them and is at complete odds with who they are.
